Abstract
Palmtop computers have become a common component
in the businesspersons tools arsenal. Their functionality
now extends beyond mere scheduling and address/contact storage
by adding Internet connectivity and web-browsing capability.
This paper provides the reader with an overview
of the issues involved in developing and deploying Oracle
Web Applications for the palmtop computer. Emphasis is given
to PL/SQL Web SDK and Designer/2000 techniques that support
this environment, and to differences among the most common
palmtops and standard PCs in regard to their impact on the
use of Oracle web applications.
